K9 Nose Work

I started a new class today!
It's called 'K-9 Nose Work'.

Here is my classmate, 'Luna' taking her turn.
Our first lesson, was to look over a lot of cardboard boxes and figure out which one had the treats inside.
Then, we got to eat the treats. Then, more treats got put into the same box and we got to eat those too!
This is the best class I have ever attended!!

So, here is my homework this week.

I have to keep looking through boxes and eating treats.

I'm probably not supposed to eat the boxes....

Easy Peasy!

I could find little pieces of hotdogs and cheese on Mars!

It's going to be a good week,
Wyatt

  6. Now that's a class where we could excel! SHE reckons we would make great rescue dogs, as long as the person was eating a sandwich when buried.

    You are one lucky dog.

  11. What a great class! Beamer would excel because he's so food oriented, but it looks like you're really enjoying it too!

Wouldn't it be cool if you could take your new-found sniffing skills to the streets and help people sniff out lost dogs?

Hope you, Stanzie, and the family had a great weekend :)

  27. It's fun isn't it? Delilah and I started this class last week. Well actually she did. My job is to keep her focused on me so she doesn't see where the treats are hidden.

Luckily for me, all I have to do is hold a piece of food in my fingers and she's eyes on. :-)

    Have fun with your class!!

  30. What a great class. It is a little like our cadaver training only we just have body parts hiden in places. We dont eat them, but if we show our humans where the human parts are, we get a treat or get to play a game. I think I like your class better. You dont have to wait for treats.
