Good Luck For Me!

I'm filling my horseshoes with good luck and wishes today!
What do you know!!!
My first wish came true...more STRAWBERRIES!
My second wish came true....
A car ride to the coffee shop!
Frappacinos for everyone!
I'm so beside myself with glee, that I'm saving my 3rd wish...

DEEP THOUGHTS by Wyatt

Today, while playing with my blue tarp.....I got to thinking about my banana tree.
I wonder if a tree feels sad, if it never has fruit.
Stanzie says yes, it looks sad.
What can we do, to make the tree feel special?
There you go, banana tree. Smile on!
Speaking of smiles.....we got a new car today!
Happy Driving!

Calling in Well

What is the opposite of calling in sick?  Calling in well. One of those days that you feel too good to work! Who says you can't fool around in the middle of the week?
Let's go pick berries!
Wow, we need to buy more plants too.
Mom, I really like this planter.
There is a cute store at Smith Berry Barn too.
I can't go in there....but, that doesn't stop mom.
Stanzie wants to go for lunch. Good thing there is a dog friendly bistro across the road.
The waitress gave us each a piece of bacon!
But I still want a chip.
We pass one of Oregon's oldest wineries....so of course we must stop!
Hey, Ponzi Stanzie!
Let's do this everyday!
Happy Digging,
Wyatt

Mom's doggy life

Mom was going through some old photos this week and couldn't help but notice that there were dogs in most of them. Mostly photos of her hugging dogs.
Look Lorenza and Frankie! Moms first dog 'Reiner' was a Dachshund.
The 60's
There were lots of Dachshunds, in the early years, cuz Grandma had 2 as well.
Fritzy and Heiny
In the 70's, Mom's dog was 'Shamrock' the Irish Setter.
Shamrock broke a toe, when she fell off the deck, chasing our cat 'Patches'.
Shamrock's cast didn't stop us from playing down by the lake!
Then came the 80's....Mom's first Airedale!
SPANKY
Mom, What's up with your hair?
Are you trying to be an Airedale?
That little guy, is Mom's little brother....who is now 29 and an insurance agent!
The 90's
Mom and Dad's first Airedale
Leopold
Mom, Sophie (visiting dale, who now lives in New Orleans, Hi Sophie!)

My Birthday!
Can you guess which one I am??
I'm the shy pup with the yellow ribbon!
I discovered my love of gardening right away...the rest is history!

Home Grown Wyatt

Happy first day of Summer! Yippee! This summer we will be visiting farmers markets, festivals, farms and other doggies gardens. Stanzie and I are sniffing around for what's fresh, local and for dinner!

Todays stop....Luscher Farms
This is a multi use farm owned by the City of Lake Oswego.
The surrounding acreage is a CSA (community sponsored agriculture).
The public can buy a share of the bounty and pick up their produce, once a week. We did it one year. It's a fun way to explore many different veggies and support local farming
and support your local chicken too!
There is a lovely clematis collection at Luscher Farm
and garden plots, for people to do their own thing.
People do veggies.
Some folks just do flowers.
Okey Dokey Artichokey!
Some plots say "Keep Out".
Stanzie says, "Wyatt, come check out this Giant Cabbage!"
