...and that is what little boys are made of?? Who wrote that?...GROSS. Well, right now, that is what our garden is made of.
They are everywhere. Our yard is like the perfect environment, for a sluggy smorgasbord. Lots of lush green plants, plenty of rain and consistent 50 degrees.
They are on the shrubs.
In the grass.
Climbing up the structures.
Eating pretty much everything, they can get their little sluggy mouths on.
We've tried it all! Baits (both wildlife friendly and unfriendly), Beer in little cups and copper tape. Our favorite methods are salting, stabbing and stomping (it's just more fun!) Okay, so enough complaining. I know some of you have poisonous snakes and roaches ....
Today is 'S' plants. Stanzie shows a Salix Purpurea 'Artic Blue Willow' and a lovely Solomon's Seal.
Dang it, I know I left that tennis ball under here somewhere.
